Our Step By Step Build Process

First step is to schedule a consult call. We can meet via zoom or over the phone, whichever is preferred. During our call, we will talk about your budget goals, project vision, and give you insight to our builds. 

We'll share how our business provides project support and unmatched quality.

​We'll review preliminary floor plan options for Barndos or steel building designs, and you'll be able to choose your preferred design along with a provided preliminary quote estimate. 

If the preliminary quote and project align with your goals, we will begin the collaborative process of a formal blueprint design with our architecture specialist. This step is where we will customize floor plan details just for your needs and provide you with a 3D model display. Drafted blueprints are an estimated $1/sq. ft. and must be paid prior to design start. Blueprints are required for Barndominium formal estimates.

***Steel Buildings usually do not require a formal blueprint draft therefore this step would be skipped. 

Now, it's time for the on-site evaluation and soil testing. A $1000 deposit is required before the on-site evaluation and formal quote.The deposit will be applied towards your build cost total, however, in the event you do not proceed to step 4, the deposit is non-refundable. 

At the on-site visit, we will assess the build site to determine the necessary location, soil needs for the pad site, accessibility routes, and utility paths. After this is obtained, we will then be able to provide your personalized, formal quote.

After agreement upon the formal quote and project design, we will go over the construction contract that aligns construction details thoroughly and complete signatures.

Our turnkey Barndos are allowed a 12-month build process, although weather allowing, this could be completed sooner. We understand how important your build is to you; therefore, we are particular about detail, suppliers, and materials so we do not rush our processes. For our steel builds, completion can potentially be completed in under 8 weeks or sooner depending on project needs.

After construction is complete, we will schedule a final walk-through with you where we will showcase your beautiful build, and you can discuss any final thoughts.  We will complete an exterior/interior cleanup so your build is ready for you to use!
